The ToughBuilt Fixed Blade + Sliding Guard combines the strength and durability of a fixed blade with an innovative blade protection solution – the Sliding Guard, which covers the blade when the knife is not in use. The Sliding Guard has two positions. When fully extended, it protects the blade edge during transit and storage. When partially extended, it creates a secure nesting for a tape measure hook for cutting-to-length applications. A hinged assembly with a tool-free lock provides access to the 5-blade storage with a magnetized cradle and makes blade replacement quick and easy.
